I'm super pumped after Jerez. McLaren's rear suspension seems to be the most innovative thing this year, and they are showing great progress. Mercedes had the most laps and track time. Rosberg got in a full race sim on day 4.
Mercedes power will dominate this year.

My bets are in:
1)Ferrari
2)Mercedes
3)McLaren
4)Red Bull
5)Lotus

1)Kimi
2)Alsonso
3)Hamilton
4)Button
5)Rosberg

21 laps over 4 days for RBR, engine fires on days 1-2 due to the ERS battery being too close to the turbo. No more testing until Bahrain. The STR sounded like shit too.

It's over for Vettel. I'm expecting Horner start whining hard for regulation exceptions for Renault again.

Mercedes is looking strong. I think they are the ones to beat in 2014.

A lot can change before the start of the season. Keep in mind that some teams were strictly doing shakedown runs and power unit tests. A lot of teams are doing complete aero upgrades even at the Bahrain tests, so the order will change.

You have to say, though, that Mercedes' whole week just went SO smooth (with the exception of Lewis' shunt). McLaren could be incredibly strong this year too. I'm happy to see Williams near the top of the time sheets because I would be thrilled to see them up near the front again, but I'm not holding my breath.

McLaren is the team to watch this year. Adding Eric Boulier and rumoured Ross Brawn reuniting with his 2009 champ, although I don't know if there are still hard feelings there. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/formula1/25944231

Fundamental issue with ERS-K system on the Renaults require a redesign that won't likely be ready until after Melbourne!
Vettel got 14 laps in before stopping trackside.

Seems like everyone is having issues, but Mercedes and McLaren are undeniably in the best shape right now and Williams has been so reliable! Hard to know if Ferrari is sandbagging or not, but they're going to have to try some qualifying runs in the final test to be ready for Melbourne.

Sauber did qualifying runs today, and only managed a 1:37.7 -- 4 seconds off Nico's hot lap from last week. Even if they were on one of the harder compounds, that seems like a huge spread.

RBR still struggling!

Nico said Mercedes discovered some issues in the heat today, so hopefully they have it all figured out soon.

Jenson and Lewis both had gearbox issues and blamed the heat. Wonder if it's a Mercedes thing.

Anyone here on F1manager.info? I had fun doing that last year.

Looks like Williams is the most reliable and has a lot of speed. It would be great to see Massa and Bottas winning a few races this year.
