Conspiracy theorist dream right there. I personally think there's a sabateur haha.

Moments of the race for me:

Max- "Sebastien is crazy"

Lewis-" No, NOOOOO"

Mark - "I'm not doing that.." *tosses shoe

I can't even imagine what the implications would be if someone at Merc HPE was found to be intentionally sabotaging Lewis' engines.

I have a hard time believing that it's a conspiracy against Lewis, but he makes some valid points about 8 cars on the grid being powered by Mercedes, and 7 of them seem to run flawlessly. He was just cruising in clean air this weekend, so why did his blow up??

The video of Alonso's first lap is bananas.

Was on vacation and missed Suzuka, but managed to go a week without knowing the result.

Pretty much over for Lewis, Nico deserves it this year.

I feel as though reliability has played too big of a role on the current results, but can't do much about that. Either way, it seems like a longshot for Lewis, but all it would take is one DNF for Nico and Lewis would be right back in it.

Lewis can fallback on his budding video game licensing career if racing doesn't pan out for him.

So like... when did Ferrari become SO badly organized? Seriously, Kimi's strategy was shitty to begin with, and then they fuck up his pit stop and he retires as a result? Nobody from the team bothered to run down the pit lane to try to get him back on the road? ffs.

Not surprised Vettel has postponed contract talks.

Alonso's late charge made the race. Too bad for Ricciardo, would have been nice to have him in 2nd.

I'm hoping for more boring races like this for Lewis though .

Yeah, if Ricciardo had come in 2nd, it would have been good for him AND Lewis, so hopefully that happens a couple times before the season ends haha. Really hoping Nico gets a puncture or a grid penalty at some point or Lewis' end-of-season charge will be for nothing. Nico is definitely playing the numbers game at this point.

We were very close at one point to BUT-GRO-PER but there was no way Grosjean was going to get past Perez. So close.

Oh man that finger wag! Vettel will always be know as The Finger!

After all that he still got demoted 5th for moving under braking on Ricciardo.

I feel like Vettel got a 5 second penalty for moving under braking and a 5 second penalty and 2 points for telling Charlie to fuck off haha.

But honestly, Vettel never should have been in that position had the race marshals done their fucking job and told Verstappen to concede 3rd place. I don't even like Vettel and I was angry about that.

Really though, what is up with Vettel's attitude lately? It's been getting worse all season. USUALLY it's because of backmarkers not getting out of the way, but this time he was angry with Massa for defending his position! Calling him stupid because defending was slowing him down? Are you kidding me?

Ocon to Force India to replace Nico. Don't have very much respect for the guy cause Ted Kravitz asked him what 3x9 was and he couldn't answer. lol

Mixed feelings about RBR messing up the strategy as I would have wanted Max to finish 2nd but I'm not sure if he would passed Lewis also. Was a great race to watch if you stuck with it, but boy was it frustrating.

Yeah, I was at a friend's house watching the race, but by the time the time the race resumed for the 2nd time, I had to start the 40 minute drive home, so I missed a lot of the action I did see a few of Verstappen's crazy passes though, and hoooooly crap that kid can move.

I also agree that it would have been ideal if he could have finished 2nd. Basically Rosberg will win the championship unless he has poor reliability in Abu Dhabi. Gettin' real tired of seeing him do only what he has to do to stay in 2nd place.

Even though I watched the race last night, it took me until this morning to realize that I would have to wait several months to see more F1.

I'm sure a lot of people are hating on Hamilton after his tactics in the race, but was it just me or was that the biggest display of dominance over Nico he's ever shown? Like if he's in front, he knows that Nico has to put everything on the line to get by him and he's never going to do that at this stage, so he just backed him waaaaay up. He wasn't even remotely concerned that he would get anything other than 1st in the race. I thought it was hilarious.

So... who's gonna take his seat? I think Merc is mostly just a fan of theatrics and they'll probably end up with Pascal taking Nico's place. Toto said at the beginning he didn't want any legal battles, so I think Alonso is out of the question (and I'm not sure Toto would take the risk of having a 2007 repeat). It would be great fun to watch Lewis destroy Vettel in the same car, but Vettel seems committed to Ferrari.

.. but I will always remain hopeful of a Kubica comeback. haha

I think it will be Pascal, but agree Lewis beating Seb for his 4th WDC would be epic!

Talks of Bottas, but I think he will be a dull choice.
