So I've gone and bought a set of rare 17 x8 Enkei WRC Tarmac Evos off a guy on Toptier with an Evo 6. Gonna get it powder coated a bronze/root-beer color.

I will be going with Ultimate Wheel on Logan. For one I live so close I can probably walk there with 2 and go home and grab the other,
Also they did good with my Style 65 rims on the E34.

Wrap it with some Dunlop SP Sports that I've had sitting for over 2 years. I had intentions of throwing them on the BBS Style 5's. Good things I kept the tires.

This will be one of the things I know I will need done to pass safety.
The tires on right now that came from Japan are pretty bald. So kind of good timing. And the fact I sold the BMW as well.

Also bought a new set of Tanabe Sustec Pro coil overs as well.

Ordered a set of front brake pads, since I have the rears I might as well do all 4. At the same time I will be getting the Brembo calipers reworked. Going to CDN tire tomorrow and pick up some red caliper paint.

Headlights, DOT stamping? You mentioned before getting them realigned, but won't it still need the proper marking?

Haven't had that chance yet to go check for safety. But in case they do want DOT I have a set of Mirage headlights I can borrow.

Tires and rims are getting worked on
Front set of brakes came in

Also next week a buddy of mine who I met through my BMW is doing my brakes and repainting my Brembo calipers back to a nice glossy red, rather than the faded STi pink right now

Went down to my mechanics place today to get some work done. Always trusted his work on my E34 so I would as well on the Evo.

- oil and oil filter changed
- spark plugs
- air filter
- got the fogs set as DRL's

Bought a set of Enkei WRC Tarmac's from a Evo 6 owner from Toptier.
Getting them reworked and powdercoated at Ultimate. Going to be a bit of a wait, but perfect timing as I also need to change the tires for safety.

Also bought a set of coils. Tanabe Sustec Pro's.

Hopefully the rims and tires are done before the 18th and my custom plate gets approved and delivered. As that's when my temp is up. I can buy 1 more as I just purchase once so far.

And a shot with Shaun

Evo 5 and Evo 10!!

Updates!!
More progress today in maintenance and a step towards safety

Met one my Euro buddies today at my work so he can pick up the Evo to do the brake pad (all 4) change and repainting the calipers.
They ended up STi pink due to time and wear.

Wlad did an amazing job with the painting! The rears had tiny lettering for the Brembo stickers. He didn't have the perfect size so we used what he had and just went without the logo.

Got my coils in today...my cat wanted in, in the box asap!

Tanabe Sustec Pro's

Going to wait for my ball joints, control arms, inner/outer tie rods and sway bar bushings to come in, before getting these installed.

So haven't updated in awhile.

My center vent's were blue and didn't match the car, so I decided to spray bomb it.

First time spraying something. Did it outside my apartment..tried to block off the wind, in a cardboard box fort...didnt work that well so there was a lil overspray. Other wise happy with the outcome.

I'll have to spray the mesh screen though as it is fading black.

After getting the coils installed...I wasn't too happy with the stance it had.

Due to having the BMW, that was an amazing stance. So I decided to drop it another 1 inch all around.

This made me happier, but I may possibly drop it 1 more...don't know.

Alignment to the specs I wanted

Grabbed some 5mm spacers off a Evo6 owner. Wont put on till next year.

I had also picked up a Evo9MR oem bov. It's better than the previous generations as we all had plastic ones. The 9 is metal and can hold up to 25psi.

Threw it on my stock engine

Someone on the CDN Evo group on FB was selling his 1 piece smoked headlights for cheap, so I was the first one to reply and snagged them up.
Won't be installed till next year either.

Will look like this,

But now here is where it gets more interesting..

Also met up with a Evo 9 owner and bought his intake system. It will fit my engine bay, as long as the battery is relocated somewhere else.
4.5 inch inlet!

Came with a MAF adapter so that made me happy too!

Then I was going to go with a cheaper upper and lower intercooler piping setup..but I said F it...go big or go home..

So I bought a TRUST GReddy FMIC system.

There must be a reason for it........but will get more into that later
