I'd hit it.

Sounds like no more V8? That's a good move... no more diluting the R8 pool with slower models.

No mention on transmission choices. I wonder if the manual has been phased out...

From what I have read, there won't be a manual transmission option.

With all the advancements in headlights and tech, wondering if it'll reach the point where even the wreckers will be too expensive to get parts from.

As for the new R8, surprised no one has made a mini Bugatti Veyron look kit yet. Tacky yes, but I can see the similarities.
