Default Sportsnet gets NHL rights for 12 years

Crazy! TSN broadcasts are so much better than Sportsnets, hopefully they step up their game

Not a big fan of the Sportsnet broadcasts, but if this means no more blackout as I understand it does, that's a good thing! I usually try to watch all the Canucks games and this may make it easier. Also, I hate it when I turn on Shaw and they blackout any Sportsnet West broadcasts of Flames/Oilers games when the guide says there's a hockey game on.

So does this mean no more TSN coverage at all??? I read CBC still gets HNIC.

Wow, confirmed, no more TSN NHL coverage...

Looks there will be some analyst movement from TSN to the Sportsnet and HNIC.
