Default Free smartphone software?

Just wondering if you guys could recommend some websites where I can get free software like games and apps.

I'll start:

Very nice, and recently released web browser Opera Mini.

The browser is available for free. To download, visit http://mini.opera.com from your handset.

Admittedly, I'm a newb.... so I'll start by saying it's for a Blackberry Curve 8310.

I'd check torrents, but I don't really know what to look for...

Wondering if anyone is using a blackberry 8700C? Pro's or cons on this device? I've never had use for a smartphone until now and was thinking of picking up a blackberry or HTC touch. Need wifi, bluetooth, gps capable would be nice, expandable memory.

Any good gps programs for the 8700C? or if anyone can recommend another smartphone instead.

My vote is for the 8320.
I have the 8310 without the wifi and I love it.
I friend of mine has the HTC and I've played around with it and it's meh for me.

For nav, garmin and telenav are available for the BB 8320.

I'm using an 8320 and it is a great communication device. The Wi-Fi is good and easy to use.

However, if you want Wi-Fi AND GPS, you'll have to look at an 8820. Downside is that it is an 8800 series blackberry, which means a crappy keyboard.

Have a look at the Pearl 2's aka 8110 for GPS, 8120 for Wi-Fi.

You mean they took out GPS in the 8320? ghey! I didn't know that, I assumed they just threw in wifi on top of the 8310.

i have had good experiences with the Asus P527.

Has Bluetooth, wifi and GPS capabilities. Expandable microSD slot. I am using TomTom for GPS software which seems to be the most popular and works REALLY well.

Touch screen smart phone with dial pad, so text with on screen keyboard or multi-tap with the keypad. Runs on Windows Mobile 6, so various apps and freeware available.
